About Us
Ryan and Amy met at Texas A&M University, where they both earned their Bachelors of Science in Animal Science. After graduating in 2009, Ryan and Amy were married and promptly moved to North Texas to begin Ryan’s career in the reining industry. Ryan worked for trainers Patrice St-Onge and Two-Million dollar rider Jordan Larson for a total of five years before starting Ryan Rushing Performance Horses in 2015.
Ryan and Amy relocated to Fort Collins, Colorado in the Fall of 2016 to fulfill their dream of working and living on the front range. In addition to helping Ryan operate RRPH, Amy has developed a successful real estate career at Kittle Real Estate in Fort Collins, CO.

One of Ryan’s biggest passions is watching others grow and succeed at their goals. Whether it is someone new to riding, new to reining, or ready to step up and win a major championship, Ryan puts a lot of emphasis on a well defined coaching strategy. Goals must be defined, a plan and timeline set, and steps taken to accomplish the goal.
